Math A and C April 27-May 1
Monday - We studied Solving Multiplication Equations-Lesson 9-4; We worked and checked p. 352 (19-29). Classwork to be turned in was p. 614 lesson 9-4 (1-10). There is NO HW. Mathathon donations for St. jude are due Friday, May 1.
Tuesday – Sub. Equations. Complete ws. Class C had a quiz.
Wed. Class a has a quiz. We studied writing equations for word problems.
Thursday – Field Trip
Friday - We reviewed for our test Monday. It is on Lessons 10-2, 9-2, 9-3, 9-4. Class A-finish Ws on matching squares. Class C – finish crossnumber puzzle. Use a calculator. Study for your test. Don’t forget donations for St. Jude.
Math B and D April 27-May 1
Monday – Test today on Chapter 12; No hw. Mathathon donations for St. Jude are due on May 1.

Friday – Quiz on % of change. Sales tax 9.25%. Complete Ws. Use a calculator.
Language Arts – Mrs. Hammond – April 27- May 1
Monday: Class A: Complete Wordly Wise Lesson 10 E. Homework: Complete Wordle (from www.wordle.net) about one character from the Watsons Go to Birmingham book. Print this out and bring in. You may also draw an illustration of the character instead. Classes B, C, D: Complete Wordly Wise Lesson 10 E. No written homework.
Tuesday: Class A: Turned in “Wordles” of Characters. Researched answers to questions about Watsons Go to Birmingham (ch. 1-3). Turned these in for class work grade. No homework. Classes B,C, D: Read and completed questions on poetry and terms. Holt Reader p. 224-230. No homework.
Remember: Last day for AR points for library contest is Friday, May 1. Last day to complete AR test for grade is May 15.

Wednesday: Class A: Worked in small group to list events from chapters 4-7 of Watsons Go to Birmingham. Choose one event and create a cartoon about the events, using dialogue and characters. Due Friday. Classes B,C,D: Answer questions about the Sneetches and turn in. Read and listened to the ballad “John Henry” and answered questions. No written homework.
