Monday – We worked on Volume of rectangular prisms. hw: p.593 (1-13) Show formula and all steps. Use your calculator.

Tuesday – We worked on Volume of a cylinder. No hw.

Wednesday – CW p. 525-527 Complete for hw if not in class.

Thursday – Complete the review puzzle of fractions and decimals. Glue the answers to a sheet of paper to make a quadrilateral.   This is classwork.  Mathathon books were given out.  The booklet is required as a test grade.  It is due on April 24, 2009.

Monday - We studied Area of a triangle. HW: p. 622 Lesson 14-2. (1-10). Show formula and steps.

Tuesday - Interior angles of a triangle. No hw.

Wednesday – Complete 558-559. Class C had a quiz.

Monday: All classes-Final 4H meeting today. Awards were presented and information about summer 4H camp was handed out to interested students.  Homework:  Grammar workbook p.71-72.  Combining sentences.

Tuesday:  All classes — Reviewed combining sentences and checked homework.  Reading- Began Poetry unit with discussion of literary terms.  Homework: Grammar workbook, p. 73 and 74.

Wednesday:  All classes — Reviewed homework and combining sentences.  Continued poetry unit and discussion of literary terms used in poetry. Sentence fragments.  Homework: Grammar workbook 78 (not writing app.) and 80 (not ex. 2).  

Thursday:  Review literary terms/ quiz.  Lesson on propaganda techniques.
