Monday: All classes- Outlines lesson in LIterature textbook pages 144-147. Grammar workbook, pronoun subjects and verbs, pages 119-120. Complete for homework. Turned in Reading Log. New Reading Logs were distributed.
Tuesday: All classes- Grammar Adjectives in comparison, workbook 123-126. Complete for homework, p126. Reading Theme, pages 220-225, 298-299. Class D only : Complete grammar workbook pgs. 123,124, 125 ,126.
Wednesday: Study guide to study and complete for test Thursday.
Thursday: Test. Grammar workbook p 141-142. Final day to turn in “Rules for Poster/Bookmark quiz” . Last day to order pictures.
Math B and D Mar. 30-April 3
Monday – We continued to work on our geometry skills. Classwork p. 497.
Tuesday – We worked on Area of complex figures. Hw: p. 500 (6-11). Show all steps.
Wednesday – We continued our study of complex figures. Complete WOrksheet. Test Friday 11-4 through 11-7.
Thursday – Finish p. 502-503. Study for your test.
Friday - Test today. No hw.
Math A and C Mar. 29-April 3
Monday – I moved the date of the test from Fri 4/3 to Wed. 4/1. We have completed and reviewed all of the material. This is on Chapter 13(except 13-3). No homework tonight.
Tuesday – CW: 13-1, 13-2, 13-4, 13-5, 13-6 Answers only. Study for your test. Chapter 13.
Wednesday – Test
Thursday – We studied Area of a parallelogram. CW/hw finish 548-549.
Friday – We reviewed TCAP skill, “Graphing Ordered Pairs”. Complete and color sheet.
Shelby Scholars Summer Institute Application Deadline is April 9th!!
The Shelby Scholars Summer Institute will be available this summer during the last two weeks of June. If your child is interested, please go to the Shelby County Schools webpage and download an application. The application process requires an essay, teacher recommendations and a copy of the current report card which should come home soon. The institute is free of charge and offers hands-on activities taught by highly qualified Math and Science teachers.
April 3rd is the last day to turn in field trip money!!
This Friday, April 3rd is the last day to turn in field trip permission slips and money. We will be visiting the Pink Palace Museum and IMAX Theater on Thursday, April 30th. Please e-mail Mrs. Jackson if you have any questions or concerns.
