Monday: Class A finished debates about Sarah, Plain and Tall. All classes: Desolation Canyon Chapter 2 (from Collierville Herald). Created grammar flip book for study guide for parts of speech. Tuesday: All classes: Checked spelling homework. Viewed and discussed Brainpop videos, Nouns and Personal Pronouns. See this link to view videos at home. Username: shelbyc, Password: shelbyc These videos are excellent for review! We added information to our flip books.
HW: GRAMMAR workbook, pages 3,5. We will do pages 7,9, 11 tomorrow, and you may work ahead. Read each night for 20 minutes, and record this on your Reading Log.

Wednesday: All classes: READ each night for 20 minutes, recording this on your Reading Log. Logs will be spot-checked on Friday, September 26! Checked HW in class. Classes A, B, and C completed Nouns and Pronouns quizzes. Class D will take those on Thursday.
Classes A, B, C- Worked on study guide for ch. 14 (flip book on nouns, pronouns). Test on Friday over Chapter 14. Class D- Viewed Brainpop videos. All classes wrote in Journals for 9/24.
Homework: Grammar workbook pages 7, 9, and 11 (skipping even).

Thursday: All classes: READ each night for 20 minutes, recording this on your Reading Log. Bring Reading Log to school tomorrow for spot-check. Checked HW (workbook pages 7,9,11). Completed and reviewed flip chart study guide on nouns and pronouns. Flip chart will be turned in tomorrow (Friday). Completed Start Up for the week and turned this in for grade. Used lap top computers to review nouns and pronouns with grammar game. Class D completed Brainpop quiz over nouns and pronouns.
Homework: All classes- Study flip chart for test over chapter 14, Nouns and Pronouns. Quiz over Spelling Lesson 6. Reading Log check tomorrow. Don’t forget to bring your Reading Log to class tomorrow.
