Tuesday We took our thinklink test today. No HW.
Wednesday We worked on Algebraic Expressions. HW:WB/prac. Lesson1-3 (16-27) Show all work.
Thursday We took a quiz. Then we studied equations. HW:none. We will have a test on Monday, Lessons-1-1,1-2,1-3,1-4, and 1-5
Friday Study for a test on Lessons1-1, 1-2,1-3,1-4, and 1-5.

Tuesday We took our thinklink test today. No HW.
Wednesday 9-10-08 We reviewed prime/composite numbers and factor trees. We took a quiz. We began Lesson 1-4 on exponents. Hw;Class A-Work problems from the board.C class-workbook Lesson 1-4 Multiply to give the answer to the problems. Show work.
Thursday–Study for your test. Lessons 1-1,1-2,1-3, and 1-4.
Friday- We took our test. We began Lesson 1-5.
Language Arts – Hammond- Sept. 8-12
Spelling List #3 Variant Vowels: count, county, salt, cross, shout, youth, amount, pounds, mountain, thousands, proof, crawled, account, launched, rumors, saucer
Monday: Received Spelling List #3. Sheet is due on Friday. Analogies handout for Language Arts binder. Began Journal with 9/8 journal entry (to be kept in Language Arts binder). Defined vocabulary words for selection “All Summer in a Day”- surged, savored, slackening, resilent. HW: Define first 5 SPELLING WORDS. Read story “All Summer in a Day” in textbook.
Tuesday: Continue with Analogies in Start up activity. Defined vocabulary for “All Summer in a Day”. Read story aloud in class. Received book orders and graded papers. Interims go home tomorrow. Wednesday, September 10, is LIBRARY day. Don’t forget your library books and library folder! Test Friday on “All Summer in a Day”. Spelling test Friday.
Wednesday: LIBRARY today! Make sure you have your Library folder for a grade. Homework: Define remaining Spelling List #3 words for review in class. Make sure you have read the story, “All Summer in a Day” for reading check.
Thursday: Reading check quiz. Review spelling definitions. Review vocabulary. Homework: Complete test review paragraph to answer this question: It’s not until the rain begins again that the children realize the terrible things that they did to Margot. What problem must the children now face? How do they resolve it? Write a paragraph that explains your answer. Support your ideas with details from the story.
Friday: Spelling #3 quiz. Test on “All Summer In a Day”. Students turned in several assignments today. If you were absent, please see Mrs. Hammond to turn in spelling definitions, spelling worksheet, vocabulary (4 words), and paragraph from “All Summer In a Day”. Also, schedule a time to make up test and quiz.
