Dear Parents of Mrs. Hammond’s Language Arts Students,

I know the $$ shock of beginning school, especially if you have more than one child, can be daunting. I do not want to add to your burden in ANY way, but I would like to ask those of you who are able to contribute any of the following for your child’s class:

Highlighters
Red ink pens
Blue or black pens
Glue sticks
POST IT NOTES
Individually-wrapped candy (not sticky, braces-friendly)☺
Old magazines with good photos/letter fonts for projects
Stickers
Colored paper or card-stock

I promise to use these things to make learning in my classroom as exciting as possible! Thank you for anything you could contribute throughout the year. I would also gladly write a letter of appreciation to any business that contributes. Sincerely, Mrs. Hammond
