Tuesday: Please get Textbook sheet completed and signed. Make sure you purchase an assignment notebook. You can get one at the CMS bookstore for $8.00. Leave your Grammar book at home! I will ask for it at the end of the year. You will need a STURDY homework folder to use for ALL OF YOUR HOMEWORK.

Wednesday: Please get the Elements of Literature textbook damage sheet completed and signed by a parent. Remember to purchase an agenda as soon as possible, along with your Homework folder.
You will need a 1″ (or larger) binder with a clear pocket on the front (to display a sheet of computer paper), along with 5 tabbed dividers. We will assemble these into your Language Arts notebook on Monday, August 18. Please complete your rough copy of your “letter” (at least 5-6 sentences). This will be your first grade in Language Arts class.

Thursday: Turned in Elements of Literature textbook damage forms. Please keep this book at school, and take it home as you need it for homework. We wrote final copies of our letters today, illustrated the borders, and mailed them. Library begins next week! Until then, please look for a good book to read during any free time at school.

Friday: Both Textbook Damage Forms are due! Complete introductory Class project. Remember Curriculum Night on Monday at 6:00 pm in the CMS Auditorium. Remember to have your 1 -inch binder and 5 dividers in class on Monday. Have a fantastic weekend! You have been an incredible group this week!
