Tuesday – We continued to work on Interest and Compound Interest. Class D had a quiz on Compound Interest. No hw.
Wednesday – Classroom discussion on simple interest, interest on loans, compound interest. No hw.
Thursday – We checked and discussed Lesson 8-6. WS was given out as classwork. No hw.
Friday – Pythagorean Theorem with Mrs. Nobles.
Monday – We reviewed % of a number(10-7). Classwork p. 411-412. No hw.
Tuesday – Class A WS 10-7. Class C p. 337 silver Book. No hw.
Wednesday – Class C didn’t have class. Class A continued to work on %. They took a quiz. No hw.
Thursday – Class C took a quiz after reviewing. Classwork/hw–search and shade on decimals and percents – both classes.
Friday – Graph ordered pairs. Turn in by Monday. All math books should be brought in by Monday.

Monday: Class A- Completed test on Watsons Go to Birmingham. Assigned book, Children of Willesden Lane. We will begin reading this tomorrow in class. Classes B,C, D- We worked on cartoon assignment for chapters 4-7 of Watsons Go to Birmingham. This is due tomorrow, Tuesday, May 12. Cartoons must be at least 3 frames, must contain dialogue, and must explain the situation from the chapter you are illustrating. Label the scene. Write your heading on the back.
Students are writing a short response to the assembly we had this morning about sexting and about suicide. This is turned in for a classwork grade.
Tuesday: Novel discussions in class. Please continue to read the next section of chapters in your novel. Field day tomorrow from 12:00 to 1:30.

Thursday: We read novels in class. Remember that AR quiz scores are due tomorrow! No exceptions. Yearbooks will be handed out tomorrow. Students must take them home and NOT BRING THEM BACK TO SCHOOL. The books will be collected by administration if they are brought back to school. Thank you for your understanding.
